| Let us tell you how it all started. Angela, a native New Orleanian, took an interest in music at the very tender age of 6. She also attend (NOCCA) as a teenager. At the age of 13, she began to pursue her singing career by performing in local and national talent shows in the New Orleans area- she won most of them. That's when she knew she had to pursue her dream. Many individuals, groups, and bands took notice of her remarkable gift of song, and started to equate her with some of the top artists of past and present. The soulful sounds of Aretha Franklin, the smoothness of Gladys Knight, the stamina and strength of Chaka Khan. All this and more in this beautiful frame, we simply call "Angie".
To her accomplishments, she has graced the stages of numerous artists at The New Orleans Annual Jazz and Heritage Festival, as an opening act for top performers and entertainers.
She has also had the privilege and opportunity to sing lead vocals to the popular song, "Saints GO all the Way, I Believe". Written and produced by Alvin Harrison III.
Angela started to shine on the local and national music scene. She performed with many of New Orleans local Artist and musicians. The late Michael Scott & The Magnetic Band, The Recreation Band, The Hamilton Brothers, Jazz Violinist Michael Ward, and HOB's (House of Blues) Herman Ernest - & The All Stars, Anthony Brown and The Renaissance Band , to name a few. She also performed at various venues in the New Orleans area. N.O. Super Dome, Theater of Performing Arts, Municipal Auditorium, The Palace State Theater, Treasure Chest and Bally's Casino, Tipatina's, Praline Connection, The House of Blues and Harrah's Casino
Angela has now formed a 4 piece rhythm section featuring Angela Bell & Company.
Her passion for music is spiritual, and keeps her always striving to achieve her goals and dreams of becoming successful in the music industry. She has no doubt that by putting Christ first, all things will fall in to place. She has already been approached by local record companies. She is working towards releasing a CD in the near future.
